Lamu Wind House faces the channel on the edge of town. Thick coral walls, a carved balcony, and a daybed terrace make the monsoon the architecture. There are no cars to the door; arrivals are by boat. The house sleeps a family and comes with a cook who understands Lamu kitchens.
